La Mosca is a literary arts and poetry magazine at Northeastern Illinois University. La Mosca aims to reflect the remarkable community of writers living throughout the greater Chicago area.
“Our goal is to lift the voices of not only the Northeastern community but also those we live and work among. Our submissions are open to all, within and outside of any formal institution.”
Being the head designer for La Mosca, my job is to design the quarterly zine publications as well as any other types of posters, marketing materials or ephemera. Down below, you will see the work I designed for the spring publication as well as posters for a poetry reading hosted by the group.
